Thorlabs' Precision Cover Glasses are ground to a uniform thickness of 170 ± 5 µm and are made from Schott D 263 M Glass, an optically clear and colorless glass that exhibits low auto-fluorescence. The uniform thickness and consistent optical properties help reduce image defects due to spherical aberrations (see the Specs tab for details). As such, these cover slips are ideal for use with high NA objective lenses.
